Why I Support Rick
First of all I'd like to thank Alex for adding me to the SantorumBlog team. It's truly inspiring to see so many patriots rallying around our great Senator. So many so called conservatives have faulted Senator Santorum for not agreeing with them 100% of the time...
It's high time we look at why Rick Santorum is the best choice (and the Conservative choice!) for United States Senate in 2006:
In 2001 Senator Santorum attempted (unsuccessfully) to amend the No Child Left Behind Act so that a full range of views on human evolution/creation could be taught in public schools.
Senator Santorum stood up for the Culture of Life when the Supreme Court activist judges put an end to Terri Schiavo's life
Senator Santorum not only talks the talk but walks the walk when it comes to protecting the traditional American family
Rick Santorum has been a leader in pushing for Social Security and Medicare reform even when it isn't the popular thing to do.
It is for these reasons as well as many others that Rick Santorum needs to be sent back to Washington D.C. for another six years so he can fight for what's right and best for America and Pennsylvania. You may not always agree with him, but you'll always know he's telling the truth which is certainly more than can be said of his presumptive opponent.

As a devout Catholic, I believe that the invasion of Iraq was an affront to the culture of life.
As a devout Catholic, I believe the death penalty is an affront to the culture of life.
As a devout Catholic, I believe disregarding the needs of the poor and impoverished in our society is an affront to the culture of life.
Where does Rick Santorum stand on these vital, core, Catholic pro-life issues?
Does he stand with the Pope?
Does he stand with the Catholic Church?
Does he stand with the global Christian community?
Or does he stand with the Republican Party?
