Cloture on Parental Notification Bill Fails
The vote to end debate on S.403 has just failed. Cloture requires 60 votes, and the final vote is 57 - 42. Pro-abortion senators regrettably continue to hold back this bill, once again proving that we don’t need fewer conservatives in Congress - we need more. Pay attention, you conservatives who are planning to stay home on election day.
S.403, the Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act, is cosponsored by Senator Santorum. If passed, it will make it illegal to take a minor over state lines in order to abort her unborn child without her parents’ knowledge.
