The Insane Hatred of the Evil Left

Filed under: Liberals, Issues - Religion, Issues - Social — John Lewandowski @ 5:12 pm

This kind of garbage must be paid attention to, because not challenging evil people like Dan Savage and the moonbats of MoveOn.org and Daily Kos hurt Senator Santorum, since it gave their lies credibility. You can’t just ignore these people - you have to defeat them.

Cliff Bostock is a typical example of a Santorum-hater, though unique in that he is apparently a PhD in psychology. Let’s pray to God that he is not actually practicing psychology, and if he is, may God have mercy on his patients. Here is what he had to say about the election of Bob Casey:

It’s unseemly to engage in schadenfreude, the German term for taking delight in the misfortune of others. But what special pleasure, watching Rick Santorum get his ass kicked. Now, he’ll be able to divorce his wife and marry his (male) dog without fear of political repercussions. You know he’s into inter-species sex, right? George Bush told me so. He never lies.

This is what passes for political discourse on the left today. The more outrageous, the more hate-filled, the more obviously false the statement the better - and yet the far-left eats it up like it’s the Gospel Truth. While they weren’t as vulgar, you could find letters which were just as hateful and just as filled with lies in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette every day leading up to the election.

I keep hearing from the far-left that Senator Santorum is somehow obsessed with sex, but they’re the ones who continue to obsess over his remarks from three years ago, which they succeeded in completely changing the meaning of and used to demonize the man.

Now that their boogeyman Santorum has been beaten, the far-left continues to push for radical changes in society. The Catholic Church recently repeated its 2,000 year old unchangeable dogma that marriage is the union of one man and one woman, and that homosexual acts are always sins. The far-left responded by calling the Catholic church intolerant, ignorant, anti-science, demeaning, and various other nonsense. Not only that, but the far-left is not even being honest about this dogma - they’re calling it “new guidelines” when this has been Catholic social teaching since the dawn of the church.

This is just like the far-left’s claims that Americans being religious people is something “new”, or that a President of the United States talking about religion is something “new”, or that people should have personal responsibility is something “new”. Of course none of these are new ideas, but you have to lie and claim that they’re new in order to present the social norms themselves as being radical.

In fact, the dishonest attacks on the Catholic church prove that the far-left doesn’t just want our government to change - they want our society to change at its very core, with any and all religious or moral teachings which they personally disagree with being done away with forever.

Casey Voters, Part 2

Filed under: Liberals, Issues - Social — John Lewandowski @ 4:43 pm

A Casey voter replied to Alex’s post below with this:

PRO-LIFE wins when you have a Senator who not only supports the anti-abortion movement but also is against the death penalty a true PRO-LIFER.

From BobCasey.com:

Democratic opponent Bob Casey shares many of Santorum’s beliefs. He is pro-life, pro-Second Amendment and favors the death penalty.

Far-Left Denies Reality

Filed under: Liberals, Elections — John Lewandowski @ 2:22 pm

One of the millions of mindless far-left bloggers disagrees with my extremely obvious observation that 2006 was an election year properly characterized as an anti-Republican backlash:

Far-left blogger: No, John, Rick lost.

The blogger asks all of his “Republican friends” to come over to SantorumBlog and correct me for saying that 2006 was an anti-Republican year. Naturally, not a single one of them came, because they know I’m right. Millions of conservative Republican voters, angry at the Republican politicians, stayed home on Election Day.

Sure, the far-left and their friends in the media orchestrated one of the most horrendous and despicable smear campaigns in history against Senator Santorum, but the far-left and the mindless media drones would have voted against Santorum anyway. I’m sure that those attacks cost him some votes, but not nearly as many votes as he lost by supporting Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey in 2004, and not nearly as many votes as he lost simply by having an “R” after his name after four years of a Republican majority failing to attack conservatively.

Just look at the way some of these elections went. Some of these House seats are only going to be Democrat controlled for two years, because it’s obvious that the Republican base staying home in these heavily Republican areas is what got the Democrats in.

In 2004, Melissa Hart (R) of PA got 63% of the vote. In 2006, she got 48%.

In 2004, Sue Kelly (R) of NY got 66% of the vote. In 2006, she got 49%.

In 2004, J.D. Hayworth (R) of AZ got 59% of the vote. In 2006, he got 46%. He’s hoping that the provisional ballots, most of which are from Republicans, will pull out a victory for him, but it’s not very likely.

It goes on and on like this. The far-left might argue that Rick Santorum hurt Melissa Hart, but did he hurt Sue Kelly, J.D. Hayworth, and many, many other Republicans who either got voted out of office or re-elected by much closer numbers than in 2004, 2002, and beyond? Of course not. The Republican base, angry about spending, angry about a failure to make good on promises, and angry about the length of the Iraq War stayed home on Tuesday. And if the Republican politicians can convincingly get their act together by 2008, the far-left won’t know what hit them as most of their House victories from this year are snatched back away from them. Then since they didn’t listen to me, they’ll blame Diebold for their losses once again.

Blaming Santorum

Republican Majority for Choice:

The pro-active extreme agenda of Senator Rick Santorum and his fellow extreme right cohorts such as Falwell and Robertson were responsible for the loss of this key Senate seat, among others.

Pa’s other Senator, Arlen Specter is still on the advisory board.

Casey Voters

Colin McNickle, who is admittedly no fan of Senator Santorum, gives us a glimpse:

The telephone call of the week — actually four and obviously orchestrated — came from the Tarentum area on Thursday regarding Wednesday’s editorial on the Rendell and Casey victories.

One caller took offense to calling Rendell a “stinking fish,” a term first used in an Oct. 29 editorial that characterized the race as offering “small choice among rotten apples” (from Shakespeare) and “no choice among stinking fish” (from English essayist Thomas Fuller).

“That’s an obscenity,” she said, unable to say why. I guess she knows an obscenity when she reads one.

A male caller also used the “obscenity” word but then leapt off the cliff: “You called Casey a ‘meemee,’” he said.

“A what?” I asked.

“A ‘meemee,’” he confidently repeated himself.

“Could you spell that for me, sir?” I asked.

“‘Meemee,’ m-i-m-e,” he responded.

“That’s ‘mime,’ sir. Do you know what a ‘mime’ is?” I asked.

“No I don’t but I know it’s obscene,” he said.

If this is representative of the core Rendell-Casey constituency, we’re in more trouble than anyone could have imagined.

Eternal Optimism and the Message of the Election

The message to the Republican Party is clear - reclaim your conservative roots or be condemned to minority status for decades.

The Republicans must immediately begin to convincingly work for the conservative principles which they promised to support when they got elected. As Michael Savage says, Borders, Language, Culture. Republicans had four years to secure the borders - they didn’t do it. Republicans had four years to make English America’s official language - they didn’t do it. Republicans had four years to get the garbage in the media out of our children’s faces - they didn’t do it. Republicans had four years to cut government spending - they didn’t do it.

The result of these failures, combined with the failure to fight back against liberal partisanship and lies, was the bloodbath we saw on Tuesday. President Bush is called every despicable name imaginable every single day, and what does he do about it? He laughs it off. That’s all well and good for Bush, but when he doesn’t go out and explain how he is being slandered, people start to believe those lies. It’s exactly the same with Senator Santorum.

I am optimistic that most Republicans will get the message and clean up their acts. They have two years starting now to prove to America that they’re sorry for breaking their promises, and that they’re now serious about supporting conservative values - which are American values.

I hate to break it to the moonbats who inexplicably continue to troll on this blog and post asinine comments, but America didn’t reject conservatism on Tuesday. America’s conservatives rejected the non-conservative actions of the Republican Party by sitting this election out.

Most Americans want lower taxes. Most Americans want to cut government spending. Most Americans want restrictions on abortion. Most Americans want to secure the borders. As George Will wrote, this election was a defeat for Republicans - not a defeat for conservatism.

Be honest with yourselves, moonbats. You just elected Bob Casey, a man who says he’s pro-life, anti-gay marriage, anti-embryonic stem cell research and pro-gun. Does it sound like you just voted against the “Christian fascists”?

Seven states voted to ban gay marriage on Tuesday. Only one state in which a ban was proposed did it fail - Arizona - and it failed by the slimmest margin. And that’s with the Republicans staying home! So much for the “AmTaliban” being repudiated.

Democrats win elections by pretending to be conservative. Republicans lost this election by not being conservative enough. The Republican Party must embrace conservatism for victory in 2008!

Chuck Schumer Smirking Now

Filed under: Liberals, Elections — John Lewandowski @ 8:48 pm

Chuck Schumer’s on now, telling us how he’s going to screw over America if Democrats take over the House and the Senate. I think we should all send President Bush a veto pen which he can use constantly for the next two years in case that happens.

Update

Howard Dean is on now, telling us how he’s a uniter, not a divider. He is so full of crap. Bush, just veto every single thing these Democrats try to do for the next two years if they take power. Don’t let them do anything.

Polls Are Closed

Filed under: Media, Liberals, Elections — John Lewandowski @ 8:22 pm

The polls are closed, so it’s time to turn off the extreme optimism and turn on the realism. All we can do is wait to see what happens. Now we find out if the contemptible MSM has succeeded in brainwashing enough people to vote for the empty suit Bob Casey. Now we find out if the unbelievably dishonest liberals have managed to make people vote against sanity.

To be honest, it doesn’t look too great. But if we lose, then that means we dedicate ourselves to fighting even harder against these maniacs. These liberals have spent the last six years calling George Bush the devil, demonizing conservatives, telling blatant lies with the assistance of their friends in the media, making up nonsense about Rick Santorum, and doing everything they can to make us lose the Iraq War.

Even if we lose every close race, I’ll still be optimistic for the future, because I know that we’re right on the issues. I know that Rick Santorum is right. I know that the liberals are madmen who seek to destroy truth. I’ve also read the Book, so I know that Truth ultimately wins out in the end.

Media Set Up Dems Like Dominoes

Filed under: Media, Liberals, Elections — Rich Talbert @ 11:21 am

The liberals love polls.  They love to manipulate them every possible way then present them as fact.  The media love polls even more.  They are too lazy to dig into stories, so they count on polls to provide “news.”

Here we are on election day.  We’ve heard for months how conservatives don’t care and how conservatives are going to sit this one out.  We heard about this in 2004 - and look what happened.  We showed up, we voted, and the media and Dems cried about how we stole the election.  How dare we vote!

Here we are on election day.  We’ve heard for months about how conservatives hate Rick Santorum and anyone remotely connected to the Bush administration.  Yet, we are turning out to vote - in huge numbers.  We’re doing it again.

Perhaps we don’t like participating in polls.  Perhaps we don’t like listening to polls.  Perhaps the media, in their attempt to sway the election, simply report the wrong findings so often that they start to believe their own lies.  For months they have been telling themselves how it was going to be a GOP bloodbath.  Yet, we are turning out to vote - in huge numbers.  We’re doing it again.

Reports are coming out from across the Commonwealth.  There was a statewide effort to vandalize Santorum signs last night.  Dems are blocking GOP poll watchers in Philly.  GOP members are filling up polling stations - some with lines as long as fifty yards.

We’re doing it again.  We didn’t believe the lies.  Dems have - and now they are set up in a nice little pattern, waiting for that fateful push.  And they will fall.  Polling station by polling station, district by district, county by county, state by state.

On to victory!

Pelosi In Town

Filed under: Liberals — AlexC @ 10:07 am

Washington Times

Top Democrats at several rallies in suburban Philadelphia this weekend worked to push their party’s voters to the polls in a state where Democrats feel poised to sweep key races and oust the Senate’s No. 3 Republican, Rick Santorum.

Gov. Edward G. Rendell joined Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of California and Democrat Bob Casey Jr., who leads Mr. Santorum in polls, to declare the year of the Democrats here.

“Once again, Pennsylvania will lead the way you did at the beginning of our country,” Mrs. Pelosi told a crowd in Glenside, where the group stumped for Democratic House candidate Patrick Murphy.

I want to see [Mr. Casey] as our senator for the next 30 years,” Mr. Rendell said, telling the screaming Glenside crowd that if they work hard to turn out the vote, “November 7th is going to be a great day for Pennsylvania, a great day for the Democratic Party.”

I guess that means that he doesn’t want Bobby to be governor?

Polls show that five Republican-held House seats in the state are within reach of Democrats — so much so that Mrs. Pelosi spent the final campaign weekend here stumping for Democratic challengers.

Here’s another article from the Norristown Times-Herald about the Democrats in town.

Not a single word from Casey. Except for one line from Nancy Pelosi, it’s all Obama, all the time.

Update: Extreme Mortman wondered where Nancy Pelosi went off to. He writes that “it’s an open and shut Casey.”

Casey Campaigns With Far-Left Nancy Pelosi

Filed under: Liberals, Issues - Abortion, Issues - Social — John Lewandowski @ 5:39 pm

NR: Tony Perkins (FRC) on Casey-Santorum Race:

As someone who has both served in a statewide elected office and ran for the U.S. Senate, I speak from experience when I say the best indicator of your future record is your past record. Senator Rick Santorum has a record of success; a record for standing up for the protection of the unborn, the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman, and the great needs of the poor. Bob Casey, Jr.’s record speaks of nothing but compromise and liberally influenced values.

Today Nancy Pelosi (D-California) came out of hiding to campaign for Bob Casey, Jr. John Kerry (D-Massachusetts) had even planned to come to Pennsylvania and support his friend. Organizations like Planned Parenthood, the Pennsylvania Gay and Lesbian Alliance and the Human Rights Campaign; groups who exist solely to advance the hard-left anti-family agenda, are pulling out all the stops to bring Bob Casey, Jr. to victory,” Mr. Perkins said. “It has long been said that you are the company you keep. If these folks are the company Bob Casey, Jr. chooses now, imagine what it will be like in Washington, D.C.

Nancy Pelosi, Bob Casey, Lois Murphy, and Ed Rendell in Norristown, PA, November 4, 2006

These groups support Bob Casey, Jr. because they believe he is the key to the success of their anti-family agenda. Why? Because every major success for both American families and American security has Rick Santorum’s fingerprints on it. The Senator has been a champion for social conservative causes and without him in Washington,” Mr. Perkins asked, “who will stand up and take the lead? The loss of Rick Santorum will be a voice lost for social justice.

Bob Casey, Jr. is no more pro-life or pro-family than his friends coming through Pennsylvania to support him. He has flip-flopped on key issues throughout this campaign, most recently on the issue of stem cell research. KDKA in Pittsburgh reports Casey now advocates the federal funding of embryo-destructive research. Like his buddy John Kerry, Bob Casey should know you can’t be against something and be for it. Rick Santorum is the candidate with clear convictions and a record that reflects it. Voters should remember that distinction on Tuesday. Their choice will affect their communities, their state, and indeed, the entire nation.

Update: Extreme Mortman wondered where Nancy Pelosi went off to. He writes that “it’s an open and shut Casey.”
