Shawn Kelly reminds Hazelton voters to vote for the statewide candidates that they actually saw in Hazelton.

Hint: It’s only one.

Give Till It Hurts

The Young Conservatives of Pa have a pretty good record of mixing it up in Pennsylvania politics. The body county after the Pa payraise is the most recent example.

The Young Conservatives of Pa 527 group is looking to continue educating voters in the waning days of the Senate race.

You can hear radio-based lesson here. (go look, they’re funny)

Finally, a 527 you can trust!

Tim Chapman links to
Congressional Power Rankings.

Pa’s Senior Senator? #2. Right behind Bill Frist.

Rick Santorum? #8.

In a Democrat controlled house? Arlen Specter? Not number two.
Rick Santorum (if he wins), not number 8.
Bob Casey (if he wins), in the 90s.

The Excitement Is Building!

Here’s a picture I found on the Polish Fireball.

It’s a picture of Bob Casey with a couple of guys at the Jennerstown Raceway. I think that’s where the No Direction bus tour kicked off.

A couple of guesses about the guy in the orange shirt. (look)

1) Orange guy was so excited to meet Bob Casey, he lost control. Bobby is THAT exciting. No really.
2) Bobby Casey told a hell of a joke. He’s funny. Really.
3) That is a physics defying shadow. Mr Casey Jr can control nature.

Additional theories welcome in the comments.

Lancaster Tragedy

Filed under: .Uncategorized — John Lewandowski @ 9:13 pm

Pray for all those affected by the evil acts which have taken the lives of three Pennsylvanian children and injured seven others today.

Statement from Senator Santorum:

Karen and I send our thoughts and prayers to the individuals and families affected by today’s tragic events in Lancaster County. As parents, we can only imagine the grief and pain they are feeling at this time. This is a terrible, terrible tragedy.

We already have seen the families of the Amish community come together for strength and support from one another; I encourage my fellow Pennsylvanians to show the same compassion during this time.

God bless,

Rick

Never Forget

Filed under: .Uncategorized — AlexC @ 12:00 am

Rick Santorum 9/11 message.

As we approach the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11th, it is hard to believe that five years has passed since that clear Tuesday morning that forever changed our nation. To honor the anniversary, I plan to attend a memorial service — United in Courage, Community and Commitment — in Shanksville at the Flight 93 National Memorial.

We will never forget the courageous actions of those who refused to lie down in the face of terror and as a result, saved American lives. The Flight 93 Memorial, along with the memorials in New York and at the Pentagon, will be a place where future generations of Americans can come to honor those who sacrificed their lives.

I continue to pray for the families and friends of those who lost their lives on September 11th. May God bless you and your families as we continue to work towards a safer world.
